How come when I click on "new posts" i get "sorry-no matches"?

same for me and its been this way for a week. this is the only way i really like to browse the site is by that feature.

Right. I dont just hang in one section, so not having the new post feature sucks!

The search engine is pretty much down. You can search posts from people and it shows most recent posts as of 4 days ago. So I bet this is tied into that.

yea, its been down for awhile... i dont want to bug brains since hes probly working on it.. buttttt....

the squeeky wheel gets the grease.

lol, its just a local forum for south carolina guys... i had a cool GM logo, but GM sent me a paper saying they didnt like that.

coolness...

its neat how you split the search off onto a seperate server/database... but it seems like it has problems keeping itself in sync sometimes.... is it a batch process or something like that?

No, any time there's an inconsistency or even the possibility for there to be one, the slave stops in its tracks and requires manual intervention. Its a MySQL thing, their implementation of replication still has a few flaws.

I just came into this forum to ask about 'new posts' not working and this thread wuz already here.

I didn't see an answer though.

Is this 'new posts' problem a future fix or permanently dead?
