LS2 GTO v.s. LS1 SS

SS4luck- 02 SS: 345hp option, 3:73 gears, C/B, drop in filter
06 LS2 GTO: LT's, midpipe, C/B, intake, tune

I got these vids off of SVTperformance... Great races, but I thought the GTO should have pulled harder. I think if/when the SS gets LT's it might edge the GTO out.

Nice runs & ya know the GTO is damn heavy buddy so exactly what i expected

How heavy are the GTO's anyway?? I would like to see that race again, but with the SS having some LT's. I think the SS might edge the GTO out IF/WHEN he gets LT's...

The '06 GTO Curb Weight is 3725lbs w/o driver so if he had a passenger i assume around 4000lbs & if the SS Has LTs and tuned definitely he gonna edge him out

I ran my buddys ls2 goat at the track with my 02 ss and the mods in my sig and beat him by 2 tenths of a second

i ran a 13.8 that day which is a second off from my best time all the muscle car guys were complaining about the times they ran there not a good track

ive got a bone stock 00 ss m6 and i beat a new goat with the k&n full application on a street race from a 25 roll.....

My 345 hp SS completely stock beat a 05 gto stock, both m6s. I beat him by probably by 1 car length to 100mph. He had about 1 car length on me from the launch and I pulled it back and passed him. I was surprised. By all the hype people on here had about the LS2 goats, I expected to lose. That GTO sounds amazing

I ran my friend's 06 with just a diablosport tuner and 4k miles, he pulled from 60-105 about 1.5 cars or so. He has 9k miles and the car has gotten noticeably faster... Nice vids!
