I have a 1998 T/A with Mac Headers, o/r y-pipe, borla wide open, Pro Yank 3600 Extreme, Whisper Lid and MAF, and the free ram air mod. After all of this i had it dyno'd and it only pulled 311 rwhp. I also do not have the O2 sims yet btw. Could this be the reason for such low numbers? Either way, i've decided i want heads/cam to up the ante, but figured i would go a piece at a time. So i am interested in a Cam. I heard the thunder racing cam's are very good. But i do not know about the separation, lift, etc. I am looking for mostly more power and a little sound. It is already extremely loud, but of course its never loud or fast enough. So, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

PYE 3600 convereter...are you planning to spray or go FI?

Are you willing to get tuning? Any conerns about idle quality, mileage etc?

Eventually yes i am. Tuning is a must, but i have to find somewhere to get it done around Dallas first. I'm not very fond of the last place i took it to get my convertor and headers installed. I don't think they did anything of that sort. Idle is not too much of an issue, nor is mileage. Neither is sound level in case you were curious. Thanks

I have similar mods, and a less efficent converter, I dynoed 312 rwhp, I wouldn't worry about it.

I've got a gold 98 Z28, so I thought I'd respond. I have the Comp Cams 224/228 563/563 114 lsa. I also have stage 2 heads. With Ed Wright programming, the car idles at about 900 rpm and has a noticeable lope. As far as power goes, I've never dynoed the car but have a 116 mph trap speed. I hope to see 117-118 mph this weekend. Better weather, lock-up switch and MAFT should help me see those numbers. I think you would be very happy with that cam.
