There is no comparison between any catback and GMMG, If you have the money, you shouldnt consider any other exhaust except true duals.

At steady throttle at 65 w/3.42's (stock manifolds & cats) my GMMG is very quiet. I usually cruise at 80 and at steady throttle it is nothing more than a pleasant hum from the rear. When you apply more throttle, though, it's a different story. If you don't have cats it is a different deal altogether.

on stock exhaust GMMG is not that loud when cruising, on longtubes it gets a little noisier but you can still carry on a conversation.

6th gear @ 65 MPH with stock manifolds and GMMG, it's very docile. Almost sounding stock. There is really no drone with the GMMG. As stated with longtubes, it's get a little noiser, but that's how I like it. Not loud enough to drown out your conversation or anything.

The GMMG is good, but without CATs and Lt's it may still be loud and possibly raspy. It all depends on your point of view.

If you are serious about spending this sort of money check out the Stainless Works chambered exhaust, It's the same idea but has a greater length of muffler. SW claims it gives a more toned sound than the GMMG without any droning.

EAD make a Powerpack exhaust I think it uses larger diameter mufflers and is claimed to sound better than the GMMG.

With stock manfolds, if I remember right, I would get a little drone at about 80 mph in 6th gear. After longtubes, there is no drone at all
