Default Will it fit?

My friend is selling his 96 z28 and he has a 52mm tb. I have a 93 z28 and want to upgrade.

The bbk site has different part#'s for 92-93 lt1 and 94-97lt1.
Will his tb fit my engine? Its easier to ask you guys than tear into the job and find out the hard way it wont work.

Thanks

They are different....93's have a TV cable that attaches to the TB that controls the tranny(4L60).....94+ F-Bods have electronically controlled trannys(4l60E)

Although I heard some people made it work, I dunno how though..never done it

check out http://speeddensity.org/index.php for 93 spacifics

If the 93 is a standard, then you can use it.

The 93 is alot more like the 91-92 TPI. I've got the TPI 58mm and I'll be putting it on my 93 LT1. QUITE alike, compared to 94+ ones.
