Default worst day of my life

well, the other night, i accidentally left my windows down. it rained that next morning, and i had puddles on my carpet then, a few (3) of my 300 pound friends got in my car. on the freeway, their fatness allowed the car to drop about 3" and i ripped my cut-out clean off on a crack on an off-ramp, and bent my y pipe pretty good. THEN, i got a ticket for running a parking lot stop sign and speeding. WELL HERES WHAT I NEED HELP WITH: i cut off all the ruined exhaust and was left with the two sides of the y pipe (essentially making my car a dual exhaust) i started it up, just curious at what it might sound like, and it is AWESOME . i still have my cats, but the exhaust tubing ends about 2 feet away from the drivers cat and about 5 inches away from the passengers cat. is there anything wrong with leaving it like that? maybe if i put turndowns on em? thanks for any help

Leave it. If it sounds good....there ya go! You aren't in danger of having your O2's burned up.

im sure it sounds cool, but you will probally get a ticket for being to loud. also the exhaust fumes will probally end up killing you.

If you like the sound leave it. If you feel more comfortable with turndowns on it, get them installed. Its your car. Mod it how YOU like it, not how others like it.

you need to get a sign saying "no fat chicks", then when your friends try to get in, lock the door and point at the sign.

you'll be fine, jsut watch out for the police.

Put some turn downs at about 60* and you will be fine.

yeah, last time I had 800 pounds worth of bodies in my car I busted the rear end to **** because i thought it would be cool to come out of a donut and burn the tires down the street. the donut part went good but 200ft of wheelhop wasn't what i had expected.

I'd put an H pipe on it and extend the pipes to the rear axle. The H-pipe will help balance the exhaust and extending the pipes will help prevent you from sucking exhaust fumes while at a stoplight.

ok cool. i was just worried that the lack of backpressure might be bad, or that i might damage wiring/fuel lines/brake lines in the process. ill try to get a sound clip. im not sure exactly how to do that, but ill try later today.

I can't believe all the serious responses you got to your question ... not to take pleasure in the trials of others, but I read this far and I was dying ... rolling on the floor ...
