Gravity oil drain for my turbo?
I just got my turbo fitted and the oil drain has to run up a 1" slope. I am using -8 line that is about 10-12" inches long. Will I have a problem with it blowing seals or do you think I will be o.k..

For a gravity drain it really needs to be able to run downhill and the less angle the better. Also needs to be -10an or even bigger. However if using a scavenge pump, I'm under the impression that a -8 will work fine because the pump will actually help to pull out the oil. Almost like a vacuum. Also the return line from pump to wherever you drain to can be as small as -6an because it's being pushed by the pump. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.
