Default Head install

I have a few questions about my Cylinder Head install. I bought my Ls1 bare and have had to buy pretty much everything. Did these motors come with pushrod guide plates? Or do I just drop them into the hole and put the rocker on? Also, when I put the push rods in the hole, do I push them down till they stop, then put on the rocker and bolt it down?

This will be stock rockers with 918 springs and upgraded pushrods.

I do have a couple magazines and books on the subject, but they really don't answer these qusetions.

Thanks

No pushrod guide plates from the factory.

There are lots of discussions about the correct way to torque the stock rocker assemblies. Try doing a search.
