Default Heads cam install finished!

Alright guys, A friend and I finished my heads cam swap this weekend. My hp tuners was ordered monday. I was woundering if it would hurt my car to drive it untuned. Its not a huge cam(sig) and it seems to run alright. Also I had a few other questions. I broke the oil sending unit while pulling the manifold. I replaced with an auto zone speacial. Now at idle my oil presure moves more than it ever has. It stays around 25 on the factory gauge. Is this because the factory was more less a dummy gauge and didnt fluctuate?

Nice. Let us know how much HP you get when you tune it.
I dont know how bad you broke your sensor, but you should swap it out. Depending on how bad the crack is it could bleed or squirt oil uninspectedly. I would stay away from driving the car hard when its untuned. Hyperutected Pistons(stock) dont withstand detention very well. If you cant wait to get you car tune, at least go easy with it. No sudden accelerations. Ease into the thorttle and try not to rev it high at all.
