Default Windsheild banners, usually a no-no, but what do you think?

I was looking at my car the other day and noticed, not one place does it say trans am, firebird, pontiac, anything, its completely stripped of all badges, and theres not even a bird on it anywhere. I was wondering why I've had a few people actually ask me what kind of car it was ha. I was thinking of maybe getting a white trans-am windsheild banner for it, something simple and clean, what do you think?

You dont have Pontiac on the trunk lid? (u shaved it?) Umm.... i think id rather see a nice set of emblems than a windsheild banner. Or, maybe put the banner on the wind diffuser (front spoiler thing w/e u call it) that puts air up tp the radiator instead.

I still say no, if you wanted people to know what your car is you should've kept at least one badge.

A windshield banner is not simple and clean. Simple and clean would be keeping the stock badges on the car.

I know that, the car was shaved when I got it, besides the rear, which I shaved b/c it was fadded.

I hate the way these cars look with the stock transam badging though, the sides are so smooth and flow so nicely, then the wart of a badge is there, possibly some vinal overlays for the stock peieces just placed on the door's in the stock location, so theres no bump there... Whatcha think?

Avoid decals when possible....get badges. They look good. If you want keep the door moldings off.

i had a very simple pontiac on my windsheild and it looked good. I own a graphics business so i play around with ideas all the time and i liked it but it was made out of an economy roll which is for indoor only and only demo purposes its like $20 for 150 ft so its cheap! took it of because it can actually bake and just never got around to putting another on. BVut your car is kinda stealthy not really flashy in any way so i think personaly if i were you id leave it the way it is. just imo

I agree im going for a stealthy look, but in the spring it will be sitting on prostars with some big *** d/r's and some skinnies up front, and more than likely, a really loud t/d system, so my stealthyness is going away Its going into the body shop in a few weeks to fix a slightly tweaked unibody from a wreck that happned a LONG time ago, and to replace the door which got cracked from the wind ripping it out of my hand one day. After I get it back I'll look into some accents, and window tint.

Personally I dont care for the stripped down four spare tires look, it might be a good look for the 69 COPO Camaro but not a fourth gen...IMO

I think a banner would look out of place on your car, its void of any character. Adding a huge banner to the windsheild with no other mouldings/emblems ect. would stand out and look out of place.

I like windshield banners, but not ones that say what the car is, like CAMARO or TRANS AM, those are just silly. If the person doesn't know what the car is by looking at it, then they have no business knowing.

I agree, I think the exeption would be the specialty or limited production cars.

i love the clean look with no emblems. my third gen only has a small bird on the map pocket and pontiac embossend on the headlight cover and sometimes i wish that wasnt even there. i would keep it the way it is. who cares if people dont know what it is.

Take the money you would spend on decals, and buy a haircut.
