Default Eibach Sportlines and Long Tubes?? I dont think so...

Okay My car is currently lowered with an Eibach Sportline Kit. And im getting ready to do headers, i wanna know if anyone who has the same sportline kit on a 93-97 f body and has ground clearance issues with a Set of longtubes. i look under there and i really dont think they'll fit but im not sure. if you do have the kit and the headers fit please specify which header brand and type you have and about how much clearance you have, roads arent the best around here...

my buddy has intrax drop springs, very similiar to sportlines, and long tubes with off-road y-pipe. It is brutal, he drags everywhere, I cant fit my hand under it on level pavement. Its a '94 formula.

I have sportlines on my '95 formula with mac mids, and it scrapes occasionally, But nothing like his!!

youll scrap a little. and when i say a little i mean very little. youll definitely have to be going over a brutal bump or turning in on an incline thats ridiculously huge. my friends had his on his 98 with long tubes for a long time now and he's had no problem.

I have had sprtlines with hooker long tubes and you can do it, but you will have to move. The roads around here will not let the headers live very long. You will have to make a choice raise the car or run a mid length like the 1 3/4 AS&M headers that are currently on my car but for sale. I have a 94.

Umm...no, you'll definitely scrape, i too have a friend who has a 98 with LT's and Sportlines and he doesnt scrape, but thats because he will hit any speed bump, or anything of the sort at a hard angle. Going into a driveway he is nearly sideways, and he has still scraped his LT's, his Y-pipe before he changed it, and even his Torque Arm Cross Member, I wouldnt get sportlines unless your looking for a slammed look on a trailer queen. I would get the pro-kit anyday of the week over the sportlines, im doing the pro-kit and Longtubes, much better handling spring and better clearance, still have to be careful though.

EiBach Sportlines & Hooker long tubes...

no real problems, i CAN go where any other lowered f-body can, just be careful entering and exiting parking lots. go slow and you will be fine.

EDIT: Just read sportlines not Prokit.

go with the pro kit

Pro Kit on mine with HOOKER long tubes...

Think there the only ones that don't have a real problem, although I think the pacesetters on my 94 would have been fine

i bought the car with them already installed. But i know one thing, I have headers, no cat, 3" pipe all the way back, and the slp dual/dual cat back, and it is silent. You cant hear it till past 3/4 throttle, then it sounds very smooth and rumbly!! And the flow is great! I am very happy with this setup, I can cruise down the highway and all i hear is tire noise at 70-75 mph. I think i am gonna do some longtubes and ORY later on, with a pro-kit of course. I think it will sound amazing then!!

I'm still worried that with the Prokit that my spohn cross member is going to scrape all the time, I still don't know if I want to go any lower.
