Default Fixed my car, look inside

Here was my original post last week....

I think that something might might have broken off in the bellhousing and is wedged so that the car wont crank. The reason that I think that, is because the week before I heard a strange rattling noise coming from the bellshousing area. The rattling went away and then this happened. What do you think?

Thanks for the help guys,

Anthony

Well I found out it was the starter. There are 2 bolts that hold the starter to the block, the long one snapped off inside of the block and fell out. The short one stayed put but since it was the only one holding on, the casing to the started snapped in half and my starter was laying on my exhaust.

I had to easy out the bolt snapped off in the block, pull the exhaust and put the new starter in. When I pulled the exhaust I snapped off 2 studs and had to drill them out and re-tap them. It sucked. Glad I had my Uncle there. Here are the pics.

The accident was caused by stupidity on my neighbor's part. My car was parked and she backed into it.

Looks like you got some oil leaks, probably from the intake and seeping down every where.
