Default vavle bodies?

what is the difference between forward and reverse manual vavle bodys? what exactly are they and why are they used?

Trans brake can only be used with RMVB and as far as my tranny guy told me he could only find one company that sold a FMVB for TH400.

Manual valve bodies are just that.........Manual. You have to shift the car all the time, all the automatic functions are gone. A forward body has first all the way back and you shift up (forward) a reverese valve body has first where drive normally is and you pull the shifter back towards you (reverse)
They are used so you can control exactly when you want to shift. They allow you full control over the transmission.
