Default What can be causing my car to surge this bad??

Just like the title states what could possibly be making my car surge all the way up to 3500 rpms. It seems to happen when I turn the car on in the moring and will not find idle until I turn the car off and back on again. Wednesday it happen to me when I went out with my wife and took a while before it finally found and idle. At this point I've checked all the hoses that go from the d-1 to intake plenium and have found no holes. My boost gauge shows the vacuum to be at about 10-11 psi vaccum at idle. I don't know at this point if I can blame loosing 2 psi of boost because of this or belt slippage. Can anyone lead me in the right direction I'm getting really frustrated and embarrased that my car surges like this... Thanks Andy

If you don't have a wideband O2 sensor, you should get one on there to see if it is running lean under those conditions. Even my stock internaled car will buck when running too lean...probably not the answer (or at least the complete answer), but should get you going in the right direction.

Check your IAC...as a former 5.0 owner, I can tell you its a pain. My WS.6 needed iots cleaned today, rpms hung at 2500 and they SHOT to 1500 in the morning.
