Default Need Help Big Time!!

I bought a WS6 off of a EBay "stupid mistake" and the car was idling very high it is about 1500rpm the seller said it just needed to be tuned but a dyno shop said that was not the problem I've taken the car to tons of differnt mechanics and they don't seem to no anything about these engines.I've had the car for almost 1 year and haven’t had a chance to drive my dream car I’ve spent too much money on it with no results can you Car Pro's please give me some tips on what it could be I have been very frustrated and depressed with all of this. Here is the sellers description of the engine.

"The car now has a fresh rebuilt engine that has 0 miles on it was rebuilt by Accurate Engines of Lakeside,California. The engine was put back stock with the exceptions of Cam the cam is designed by Comp the cams spec is 224/228 lift 581with lobe sep of 112. The comp cams springs 600 lift was installed on a New set of 243 LS6 heads. Then I Installed the Polished Holley Lingefelter Intake. Then Hooker was the choice for the Long Tube Headers with the Hooker Aero Chamber Muffler (CatBack) both are Ceramic coated for long life. The car also has a MTI CarbonFiber Airlid with a K&N filter. The transmission has had a new pump and filter installed with a B&M shift Kit backed with a 3500 Super Street Fighter Stall Converter by TCI.The body on the car has no damage Mint. The engine runs strong but will need to be Tuned. The car will not IDEL it has a brand New computer which was purchased 2 weeks ago"

We don't post non-sponsor contact info..... Or you can adjust the screw on the throttle body to give it more air at idle.

Yes, your post was edited.

sounds like a vacuum leak, or a ported TB gone bad.

That was my next guess. Maybe the intake is not sealed properly, was it torqued to spec? Or like was said above maybe the idle sensor has gone bad.

Sorry to say it, but sounds like a lot of basic troubleshooting was foregone, and after throwing money at it, the problem is still there. Rebuilt engine, new intake, and a PCM?

I agree with the above post about the TB and/or the idle screw...or some other form of un-metered air.

Im sure that it is a pretty easy fix. It sounds like there is a vac leak for sure.

I changed The Idle Sensor and the last Mechanic re-sealed the intake just to make sure there were no leaks. I’ve heard Leingenfilter intakes have inner leak problems.Have you guys heard anything about that? I was thinking of putting my stock intake back on. Do you know if it will it fit with the LS6 Heads. Yah Im very clueless

sounds like a intake leak or ported throttle body gone wrong. spray carb cleaner around the intake and vacuum hoses and listen for the tone to change. that will rule out a intake leak, good luck
