Corvette Performance - Need Answers!!

My friend has a 99 vette. What headers & intake would be best for him? :confused:

lg or american racing on the headers. are you talking about a cold air intake or an intake manifold? for manifold if he keeps sock heads id just go w/ an ls6 intake. if you plan on getting ported heads then go with the fast intake. as far as a cold air kit id go with the callaway honker its second to none!

lg's are the best headers

LG Pro longtubes no cats(if you can)...worth every penny. I have a Vortex ram air induction. I also like the setup of the vararam.

LGs are great. I have the DYNATECH and I am very happy with them. Great design, easy install and look alot like the LGs IMHO.

CAI, I think the BLACKWING is a great deal for the product. I had the VORTEK rammer, but I went to the VORTEK and left the large opening in the shourd under the BLACKWING...talk about ram air. :devil:

LG's is what I plan on. God they sounds and look great! I got a big Raptor XXL intake on mine and loving it, east install and really gives out some power for a cai. but yea, i think if he gets LG's he wont be disapointed

Headers and other mods arent worth it without a cat back-xpipe first...and Thats over $2k...1/3 of the way to a Kenne Bell...

there is an order for mods...CAI before LS6 intake...catback before headers...to get the most out of them...

LG's are the Planets most powerful C5 Header. You can pick up Z06 Ti catback system for $400 or so and they flow just as good as any aftermarket system available. Callaway Honker is a great investment as well.

So he should with LG lt's and ls6 intake? He has the vararam and a borla cat back.

Sounds like you got your answer. LG long tubes, LS6 intake and use existiing mods and your freind should be set. If your friend needs anything please give us a shout.
