Default Spiral Flow in car...

...since I don't see many people with the spiral flows, here is a quick in car breeze through the gears (yes I shifted slow, I don't care, I wasn't trying to cut a crazy 60') and a little blast outside the car. The link in sig is just a small cruise by, nothing crazy, but I had a few people ask so I did this this weekend to help out.

Your car sounds badass, I think people dont give spiral flows the credit they need to. I thought I was sold on ST but these SF have me undecided...

Thanks, my friend had STs over the axle on his car before he sold it, sounded good but wanted something just a little different.

Yes it's catless

Love the sound of my spiral flows. I had the setup over the axle and just changed it to a dump style. Man does it sound BAD ***!

I just got Spiral Flows over the axle 3" all the way back and I love it. I haven't really played with it at all cause my tuner told me to take it easy until we tune the car on monday. I'll try to get some video of it this week. Those things really scream at WOT. At WOT it's almost as loud as when I had dual cut outs but it sounds a lot cleaner.

i love the sound of these spiral flows, but im just worried about the interior noise and drone when you do dumps.

Well I came from a setup that had ALMOST unbearable drone on my Supra, so maybe my view is skewed If nothing else, just have the TSP carried over the axle if it's too rough in the car. Make sure you angle the dumps OUTWARD, mine are only about 30 degrees off vertical center, and compared when I first had them installed straight down, to me it was noticeable

HAHA i know you get tired of seein me post up about the Spirals lastcall190. Just dont wanna spend the money and be disappointed. Can you angle the tips yourself when you install the kit or do you have to have a muffler shop do it?

Well mine lined up angled just as it happend... I first drove without them angled, but not bolted to the car, just up and down the road (they hung low but didn't go anywhere). when I went to bolt them up, to get the bracket in position to bolt to the chassis, I had to angle them slightly (bonus, saves me time). I remember seeing DirtyJohn (badass install writeup btw!) say he tried and bend them but it required insane effort. If I were you I'd just cut and reweld the hanger. But test fit them first! I was about to cut 'em up but they ended up angling just enough for me You have to get them, because I need to hear them with a cam The kit itself, you should be able to install it no problem, make sure you flip the fuel lines for the extra clearance!

Heh... I wont lie, duals are loud, and I had no idea until my friend drove my car past me one day. You would be stunned at how docile they are in the car, btw the clip is with windows down. It's impossible for me to say if you'd like 'em because we all have different thresholds of volume tolerance I liked the tone that the SF had vs the ST (IMO dont really have a tone per say).

i have only owned 2 cars...see my sig...but when my LS1 comes in the summer, I am doing LT headers and true duals along with a lid first...This will be the first car i actually work on myself, me and my buddy are gonna do it in his garage...so wish me luck...I kinda liked my loudmouth, but didn't care for the rasp...Right now, i am still thinkin true duals...I just can't tell which sound more demonic at WOT, SF or ST...
