Default LS1 to LS6 pcv swap information

I just completed the pcv swap on my 98 Z28 and was just curious on if this has any other gains besides a cleaned up pcv system. The way it is creating vaccume seems more effecient and was wondering if this could provide more or better power? I am sure it would not be noticeble, but could there still be some gains? Also will this take care of the very minor oil consumption LS1's are known for?

All it does is help to reduce oil consumption by sucking in air through the valley rather than the valve cover. The valve cover has all sorts of oil flying around so it gets sucked up into the PCV easily.

Let me put this in the external section for you. If it needs to come back over here, let me know.

I wasnt sure where to post this.

So my other question is then, is it ventilating the crankcase more effectively?

I'd say it's about the same. No real performance gain.

I think it's a complete waste. I did the swap 3 or 4 years ago and got just as much oil in the intake as with the LS1 pcv system.
