Default y pipe help

hey guys i am going to order some pacesetter longtubes.. but i was wondering if the TSP y pipe will bolt straight on to my original exhaust of my 02 z28, or will i have to change my exhaust aswell. thanks

It may need some trimming, but probably nothing crazy. If an aftermarket catback will go onto a stock Y, and an aftermarket Y will fit an aftermarket catback, you can say a stock catback will fit an aftermarket Y. Confused yet? lol The truth is, you can't tell untill you are fitting it up. Had to trim my friends GMMG to fit it on his Kooks y-pipe, but I did it with a die-grinder.

If you're not wanting the cats, I'd go with the Pacesetter y-pipe, they seem to fit a little better. Search a bit, you'll find plenty of info on it. Welcome to the boards!
