Default Water Pump out..

Well if it's not one thing, it's another..
I had it out yesterday and was practicing some launches on a back road in the middle of nowhere when I noticed that the Temp was a little higher than normal, and could smell a little Antifreeze. I stopped, opened the Hood, and Antifreeze was everywhere under there.
What happened was that it was coming out of the little hole on the bottom of the Water Pump, and dripping on the Balancer throwing it all over the Engine Bay. The OPTI is fine, but I am going to take it off and clean it very well when I replaced it.
I was able to get home with no problems, it ran pretty cool, about 205 degrees the whole time. I am driving my other car for now, so for those that see this same thing happen with your car, replace the Water Pump before it kills the Engine.

Nothing much, the only thing I got out is the Rear Seats, Spare Tire, Jack, and the complete AC System. That car is a feather from the Factory.

I have the 180 Factory stat in it, and it never gets over 200 degrees. I am probably going to go with a re-built one, I am moving into a new place so there is some money spent there, still need a new set of Tires, and Drag Radials, now a Water Pump..

Ugh I had this happen to mine, exact same thing was happening. I got a rebuilt one for like 60 bucks IIRC.
