Default More Street or More Strip?

I am having trouble figuring out how to finish my '01 Formula. I want to drive it on the street as well as the track, but how far in which direction show I go. Here is the common stuff.

F1R Procharger with 1500cfm water/air IC system
402cid Iron block with -32cc dished pistons

Here are the differences:

More Street Setup
TEA ported Dart Heads 240cc CR 8.2:1 to 9.6:1
TSP Giant Camshaft with PP Roller Rocker Arms
Stock LS6 Intake with Ported or "Big Mouth" TB
Built 4L80E with 3500 stall TC and lock-up
Max effort on pump gas with water injection

More Strip Setup
ETP 265cc 4" bore Heads CR 9.5:1 to 10.5:1
Custom Solid Roller Camshaft with Jesel Rocker Arms
Edelbrock Single Plane Manifold with Elbow, 90+ TB, and fuel injection
Built TH400 with up 5000rpm stall TC
Race gas

If you have any recommendations on something else, please give details.

Need more info. IMO.

How do you use the car? Is it your daily driver, or do you commute with another ride? How often will you actually go to the track?

OK, daily driving will not be seen too much, maybe more of a weekend driver. I would like to go to street legal drag nights.

how far are you from your trcak.... if you're close ( less then 50 miles ) then I think you may want to aim for a more track orientated setup... only because you'll find yourself there more often then not.

if you're a good distance... and just like going to car shows, etc. then I'd try to keep it in the 8.5 to 1 compression area, do the 4l80e. Either way though.. I'd go for the Et head/solid roller setup.. if you've already gone big with the blower setup, no reason to choke it up with the other intake or the dart heads. This way, you've got the better stuff, if you decide to go more race with it.

I went ahead and voted, but IMO, this a very personal preference. Nobody else knows how you trully intend to use the car, how tolerant you are with regard to driving a race car on the street etc.. Some people just can not tolerate things like lumpy cams, high stalls, deep gears etc. for a street driven car.

It's sort of like taking a poll on whether you should date an ugly blonde with big ****, or a beatiful brunette with nothing up top? Who cares, just make a decision that suits YOU, and be done with it.

My .02....

I would not go witgh the solid roller setup unless it will be 75% track use. That Texas Giant is a great cam that guys are running in large cube engines and will have less maintenance to do. Also, on the intake I was going to do the carb style as well but was steered away from it due to tuning issues being a nightmare. I have been told this from tuners and owners who have done this mod. The Fast 90 is the way to go right now until something better comes along. Also, there could be some modifications that need to be done to your hood for that style intake. This is just info I have been given over that last 2 months with my research of my 427 project by various people.
