Ripped Off by a Private Seller on Here... recourse ? I responded to a "Parts For Sale" ad on this Forum... checked out the guy's Trader Rating, everything seemed OK.
He got my certified check for $380, and has been promising me the tracking #'s for 10 days now. He checks his PM's daily, so I know he's seen my requests for status. I'm in New Jersey, he's in Texas.
I'm figuring my next step is to have my bank track where the check was cashed, and then contacting the police in his town.
Any other advice ?

Damn that sucks.
Make sure you have exact details so the mods can keep tabs on the feedback thread.
