Default Got my Ebay headers Dyno'ed today

Well i thought everybody would like to see some numbers with all of the ebay headers talk going on. Unfortunately i wasnt able to get a baseline before i put on the headers.

My car is a 99 z28 with ls1 intake, texas speed lid, PP Throttle body, Ebay headers (that my fabulous gf bought me), Tsp ory pipe, and Corsa exhaust.
So it really doesnt have much done to it

I'll put up the graph tomorrow, but i put down a 327hp/338tq on a conservative mustang dyno. So 345'ish on a dynojet the tuner guessed.
Not too shabby for a relatively stock z28

So i just wanted to say thanks again to Jeff from PSI

did they tune at all? 13.5 is kinda on the lean side of safety.

13,5 is really lean for a WOT run... Should shoot for a point richer.

Its a long tube header, they are all going to dyno about the same. Theyres no magical science to it

I believe he did have it a little richer at one point but we didnt gain any power and there wasnt any knock on the leaner setting so i believe he went back to that one. but i could be wrong. Im sure jeff will comment on it if he reads the post

Just wanted to say I reccomend PSI to anyone in the area who needs work done. They have great prices and fast/excellent work.

345 rwhp is a solid number for a car with only an LS1 intake. Im not attributing that to the headers Im just saying they are good numbers you have there.

Yea, i really wish i had been able to get the car dyno'ed prior to the header install so that we could see a gain.

But we at least know the ebay headers add some decent power. the car is definately strong for essentially a lid/exhaust car

I haven't looked at a stock 99 dyno in a while, but it looks like your HP peak occurred around 5200. Nice looking torque up to that point.

Next time, tell granny to get the before dyno!!

i love the way every one want a huge dick swinging dyno# with a dyno jet.. those things suck.. and are easily tricked to giving more HP.. I would rather have REAL #'s as opposed to inflated #'s..

good gain by the way.. but .. this is kind of useless if there was no before dyno run without the headers.
