How do heads affect idle and driveability?
I have a TR224 cam and am thinking either more agressive cam + heads or just heads. If I get something like PRC's, how will it affect the driveability and idle quality? What about the sound? I am hoping to get into the 11's with a heavy vert on this.

Love the sig!!
The heads wont really affect your idle negatively. I think heads may make it seem like the cam is lumping a little harder, but not in a way that would make it idle worse.
The biggest advantage to getting heads i sthat you can bump up compression to 11:1 or so and regain some of the lost low end torque, especially if you have a bigger cam. Added compression definately improved my motors responsiveness and drivability.

It will be a little deeper sounding at idle, but will not be quite so choppy from my experience. Expect a slightly smoother idle. How smooth will depend on how much compression you add.
