241 & 243 Heads?

Hi, I wanted to know the difference in two. I know that the 243 heads are a upgrade to a LS1,but is the 241 heads is that a upgrade too? Please help me with any info I'm a newbie

241s came on newer ls1's in replacement of the 8 series.....the 243s are ls6 heads that came on corvettes depending on the year

The 241's started on the LS1 in 2000. The 243's came on the LS6 in the ZO6. They're a good upgrade over the 241's.
