Default old gum...

whats the best way to get gum off a car....i have some gum that looks to have been on my daily driver for a long long time...its pretty hard...how can i remove it

try going to the car wash and use when of those high pressure, pressure washers. Should do the trick, good luck

Try to loosen it up with the good ol' thumbnail and some window cleaner (or wd40 or somehting along those lines). You could also take something with a flat edge liek a paint scraper, wrap it in an old t-shirt (so u dont scratch the **** out of the paint), and try that. Dont yell at me for that last solution either... it works on my DD Exploder EBE and ive never scratched it.

plastic razor blade and bug & tar remover .. put the remover on, let it set for a few minutes, then scrape off with the plastic razor blade ..

well they make some stuff that you spray onto the gum and it freezes it and makes it hard as a rock then all you have to do is pull it off either with a scraper or hands gets the gum off the sidewalks at my work..

liquid nitrogen will freeze that gum, then it should just dissolve as you wipe it off.

Get it cold with an ice cube then price it off.

EDIT: You might need a few cubes of ice.

I don't think so, I used it to get the glue off of my car after I did the !molding mod and it didn't damage the paint.
