35 or 20...

35 or 20...
...percent tint, that is. Have an appointment either this saturday or next, and I'm doing the sides and rear. The rear is gonna be 15%, no darker, no lighter. Just a question with the sides, hmmm..... Anyone from NJ wanna chime in with some suggestions? Cop intervention isn't a big thought, considering my exhaust and lack of front plate Thanks

I have 35% sides and 15% back. Granted my back window is much smaller than yours. At first I was pissed about the sides being lighter, but it's state law and I cant afford to get pulled over for tint. Sorry I only got 1 rear pic with the tint. If you want I can go snap some more.

i have 15 all around on the hawk, love it. on my old truck i had 5 all around and the only time i had problems was backing up in a dark area. on my new truck which has stock tint, ill put 35 on the rear sides which will be like 5 bc of stock tint and 15 on the front ...im gunna leave the back stock tint till i figure out what to do with that, prob add 35 and that too will appear to be 5

i had 20% all around in my old stang. it was still kinda hard to back up for me but everyone's different. however i got pulled over and warned SEVERAL times within the first year, then one cop made me take it off. i dont know how strictly enforced it is in your area though

travisnd, see in that pic the tint looks really dark, and that's what I find. From almost any angle except straight on, 35 doesn't look THAT much different than 20 (well to me at least).
shiv, I don't care man post away that's what I made the thread for. The tint looks real good in those pics.
keep the input coming!

thanks man i appreciate it. if u click my sig it will take u to my fquick, just click the hawk then on the right click the link that says somethin about the photo gallery, dont click a pic...after that you can see a bunch of pics from dif angles...aww hell, thats too much work, ill put a few up...
some angles you cant see in, but if the sun hits it right in the front windshield, and your at the right angle, you can see a lot....im happy though
sorry about some of the low quality phone pics...i tried to be fair on lighting conditions. i happen to have a tendency to take pics where things are mirrored off my car like in my sig...i dont see that as fair lighting conditions bc there is too much happening to be able to get a fiar opinion on how dark the tint actually is
see what i mean with the light hittin the front windshield V below
