Default SLP blackwing filter question

I have a SLP blackwing filter that I got with the flowpac. I was going to order the cleaner and oil for it for its 18 bucks and there is a 25.00 minimum when ordering online...My question is can I use the K&N filter cleaner and oil. I was thinking that its all basically the same thing. Would this hurt anything?

I have the OE Blackwing filter that came with the
SS option lid but it's paper (purple looking) and does
not want oil. If this is an oiled filter I say, go paper
and call it a souvenir.

Yeah this is a oiled filter and I figured most people would say just get paper but I really rather not get rid of a brand new filter
