Default ques about victor jr. intake clearance

i have a ss hood and was wondering if it would fit under my hood, im going to go with the efi and not the carb on my 408.. with 4400 stall and th-350... what all do i need besides the rails and elbow?? and will stock injectors work, i have the #28 ones... and i guess you have to custom fab up something to go from the lid, maf and to the t/b right??

and how much taller is the elbow for it than an ls6 intake, thanks

i just dont want to buy it and it not fit under my hood... and am not going to lower my motor.... thanks in advance, dwayne

you talking about the efi or curbed. Any one have a good picture of one installed efi. As im thinking of different intake options here. And that thing does look bad a$$. I wounder how it flow n/a 402 afr heads. i thought they had one where the tb was on front not top. I saw a picture of one or my mind started to wounder again.

I have a buddy here that has the elbow on his formula and he just had to knotch the back side of the hood a bit nothing too visible.

You might have to (most likely) notch the rear cowl area next to your window.

Well, I can tell you right now that those 28#'ers are not going to be a match for a 408. I would look into some 36# SVO's, and at a minimum 30# SVO's that are rated around 36# on the LS1.

Here's a pic of my Vic Jr. with Aarons elbow on a '99 T/A with a standard hood. You can see at the top of the pic that it does just barely rub the hood.

Ya thats what I was talking about where my friend knotched the hood so it doesn't rub just lightly go over it with a dremel.
