how many miles on it?

I've heard some people say that on high-mileage cars, changing over to synthetic could cause some leaks to appear - due to the synthetic cleaning out the gunk that is keeping the old stuff sealed up. Not sure how true this is or not though.

But other than that, I would say YES, it would be fine.

Modern cars with modern seals should have no issues with changeover to synthetic oil.

If, by some wild chance, you have issues you can fix what is leaking or go back to regular oil. I'd almost bet my own money that you aren't going to have any leak problems, though.

You should be fine doing the switch. I'd do it without hesitation.

I was under the impression that once you switch to synthetic, there's no going back...

You could go back and forth every week without detrimental effects if you had the $$$ and time.

Your pennance for believing that myth is to do this GOOGLE SEARCH and read for not less than one hour.
