A set of Lt1 heads go for $$ i bought them from a guy with low miles on them that had been cleaned and are in great shape never got to use them and found the mstored in a box upstairs in the attic ??

Helluva find

I'd take them and port the hell out of them, do what you can to polish them, and slap them in the FS section or back on eBay! Maybe get some valves for it of course.

EDIT: I was under the impression you can't drop 2.02/1.60 valves in LTx heads, but just saw the LT4 for-sale stuff and the LE heads have 2.08/1.60. If you really CAN fit them in, I've got a set of 2.02/1.60 stainless steels if you're interested in porting them like I mentioned.

I recently saw a really clean untouched pair at a swap meet. The guy was asking $400. I have saw them sell in the $200 - $250 range.

No offense to Formula350, but the last thing you want to do is start grinding on them. They are worth more in untouched condition, unless they are ported by a reputable Head Porter. I wouldn't give two pennys for a set of heads with an amateur port job.

they have abunch of numbers on them lol forgive me but where would the casting number be located.....
