Question Car wont shift to overdrive

We recently did a converter swap and go her back running, but the car will not shift into overdrive now. Any suggestions as to what it can be? We checked all of the lines and made sure the fluids where right on the money.
It's a 4l603 by the way with a 3600 Precision Converter. Just curious if we missed something when putting the tranny back in there. I tried to search, but my search function is not working.

Thanks,

it may be locking in 3rd (limp mode) due to computer sensing the loose converter.

Does it shift 1-2-3 auto but just not into 4th ?Also note if its not locking up sometimes particularly with a stock trans or at lower speeds you may not be able to tell its in fourth

I'll bet you anything its the TCC not locking up, count your shifts. I'll bet you are in OD

It should shift 3 times to put you in OD. The 4th is actually your TCC locking. The motor will spin freely when not locked to the drivetrain, like pushing in the clutch. When locked you will have engine braking.

mine does the same thing. it started acting up just a week after a cam and converter swap. it slips really bad going into 3rd, and never goes into OD. i think mine is the 3-4 clutch packs
