ok i might drive around the block at 2 am to wake everyone up and **** them off but i was just making sure i wouldnt screw all my **** up. I know it will run bad because of no 02 sensors. But i dont care it will still be loud. i just dont want it to 'break'

I would worry about reversion of cold air warping a valve, not to mention starting things underhood on fire.

Yea, it's goin to get hot under there, and if you are close to stock, which I assume you are with Manifolds, you could kill a few valves. Why do you have to run it like that anyways, it's goin to sound like ****..

Are you talking about running with no headers on? Thats retarded if so.

Or headers on but no y-pipe? In that case, you will foul out the o2 sensors and ruin them. And run super lean and have shitty performance.

Well that would be the worst thing ever to do. Good luck cleaning out your engine bay. Bye bye paint on strut tower.

Yeh it's just not worth it. Open y-pipe/cutout would be okay as long as it's about a foot past the o2 sensor.

You contradict yourself here. The question in the post was simply "will it survive?" The engine WILL run with open manifolds. Therefore, it will survive. I gave no misinformation.

I did not tell him, "Go out and try it, it's a wonderful idea."

SO...next time you want to get on me and blame me for misinforming a newb why don't ya try and make sure i gave misinformation first.
