anyway to adjust(set) the tv cable in the 4l60e(94 model)? or does the computer control it all? i know it has the cable going to the throttle body like earlier models.

The 'E' on the end is meant for Electronic.

You can adjust your shift points with a tune. The early modle your thinkin of is the 700R4 or 4L60.

yes i know, i just didnt know if adjusting the t.v. cable would have any effect. the car will not shift out of 1st under w.o.t. and doesnt like to shift while giving it much gas at all.

i may be thinking of the passing gear cable mounted to the side of the throttlebody just like the 93 has. which is a 4l60 but not an "E".

Did you keep the original tranny from the 93? If so, then it's a 700R4/4L60, and you have a TV cable, which yes you can adjust. It might be TOO tight and I think that'll keep it from shifting, or is it too loose?

only cables on a 4l60e would be Cruise, and Gas. Not sure how traction control hooks up if equipped.
