So I was having intermittant starting problems and so I replaced my cluth position sensor because it was acting like that might be the problem (no crank at all, new battery and charge showing up as well as all lights and radio coming on) but sometimes itll start right up getting more frequent until yesterday I had to push start it. I'm thinking starter now...what do you guys think?



oh and pontiac drive train warranties suck my *** with 3 yr 36000 mi.

hmm usually when its a started issue youll hear a "drill" type of noise....however you can get under the car and beat on it one good time and see if it will start then....if so its your started going out....try to eliminate that problem first

Does it click or make any other noise? The only real way to tell is put a test light on the starter wire. If it lights up and no start, starter is bad. Easy diagnosis. Good luck.
