Default Anyone try the UMI 90mm throttle body yet?

Trying to decide on which throttle body to go match with the ported FAST 90 intake I'll be purchasing in the next few weeks. I was dead set on the Nick Williams piece because its been proven over and over, but the UMI piece seems pretty neat. My entire suspension will soon be UMI, and I'm happy with the pieces I have installed so far.

Anyone have any experience with this TB? Does it have any improved throttle response over a NW90, or any other drivability advantages?

Oooooh okay, that makes a bit more sense then. So nobody on here has tried it out at all, huh? Might go NW then. I've still got probably at least a month or so until I buy anyways.

There are some people that have used it (Katech has), but the price of admission is much higher, hence why you'll find more with the NW piece.

Ya know, actually I did notice it on Katech's LS7 car. Maybe they'll chime in on here, or I'll have to PM them about it.

I had a NW on my Radix, and now I'm going with a UMI on my 408. Both are nice pieces....the UMI is pricier, but it looks like a little better quality too.

The link above says $419. Not too bad.

Wow...that's the same price as the NW. It does use a parabolic bore on it (although the butterfly I think is still round), which I'm not sure what that does to the airflow. It looks very, very nice though.

The butterfly is round.

$419 is a great price, I just paid $600 shipped for mine direct from UMI

Anyway, here is mine mounted to my SSR manifold...and yes that's a place mat on the dining room table that it's sitting on
