Headlight motor gear?

Headlight motor gear? My moms 99 corvettes headlight is starting to make a grinding sound when she tries to turn them on just like how my trans am did. My question is do they make a brass gear for the corvette like they made for the firebirds? Or is the motor for the corvette the same as the firebirds?
