Whats the normal Oil Prussure range?
Ok these two events may or may not be completely unrelated. I got my transmission rebuilt about 2000 miles ago, when the rebuilt the transmission I got an oil change the mechanic recommended 10w 40 for my higher mileage car(110k). I usually use 10w30 its seems like my oil pressure is alot more unstable now. The pressure is high like in the 50 range when cruising and gets over 60 during normal acceleration. Also the pressure gets well below 40 when sitting in traffic.

I used to use GC 0w30 on my car and I would see 40-45 psi in traffic, normal driving. close to 60 at wot. i changed to 10-40 because I beat the **** out of my car and the numbers went up by about 5psi. that was on the stock pump. My slp pump is a totally different story.
