Those with "Catalyst low efficiency bank X" MIL's... Yea, that nagging orange MIL that pops up occasionally, and especially if you can't program it out, it's annoying, embarrassing and almost pointless. Seems to be a problem here too, I see from a quick search. Well, good old GM has a solution for you...
I just got a "recall" letter indicating that The General will replace the offending cat for 10 years or 120,000 miles. (I wonder of they will do both.) If you have a 2000 LS1 car, you will probably be getting one soon, too.

Haven't gotten the letter yet but someone posted it on another board. It's not a "recall" just acknowledges there is a potential problem with the cats on the 2000-2002 F cars and extends the warranty past the 8yr/80K federal emissions warranty.
