Default Another M.A.S. Question?

To start of, i know that buying an aftermarket M.A.S. is a waste of money and im not about to spend $150-$300 bucks on a sensor that tricks my car into making more power. BUT my question is about the stock M.A.S., mine still has the screen on it, should i take it off? and if so how much more power will it make? thanks!

many people descreen their MAF and see no problems, while others do it and their car runs like crap...

descreening your MAF may gain you .25hp, but may cause more trouble then its worth..

i descreened mine when i first got my car with no side effects, but it is honestly not worth the risk to gain .25

so i would reccomend leaving your MAF alone and i think that most people on here would agree

i descreened and poeted mine with no issues. i was running a dry shot at the time so that why it came out. i think the stock maf can handle 500-600 rwhp. not sure can someone verify
