Carbon Fiber SS Hood???? Im in the market for a new ss hood cause the one i got is screwed up. but anyway, i saw a carbon fiber one on ebay today and was curious if u guys think it would look good if i painted the hood(pewter) but left the scoop unpainted (like a manta stripe)...any input would be appreciated...o and if anybody is willing to give me a hand, a photoshop would be awesome...thanks in advance.

In my opinion it won't look that good. But, if you do leave that part unpainted, make sure you outline it with a black pin stripe of some sort. Give me a pic of your car and i'll photoshop it for ya

ive been wanting to do this forever...ive asked the same thing on here awhile back...alot of people hate it....im going to do it to mine in feb.......think it will look great

i think that'll be one of the most badass hoods ever!! seriously im not being sarcastic. I know a place that sells them as well as a carbon fiber hatch that you could paint but leave a stripe to match the hood and then throw on a cf berger panel and have a sweet *** theme going. thanks for all the input...and i dont have any pics of my car...i need to get a damn camera but its just a pewter ss...ill just find u a random picture of one....keep the replys coming though.

leave the hood alone. Why pay for a carbon fiber hood and then cover the design with paint. It may look pretty nice on your car with the pewter paint. maybe you could find a way to make the rear taillight panel carbon fiber as well.
