Default Another Berger Panel

Well I was able to pick up a used berger of a 94 camaro' which is cool... I have been busy in between studying. Finals suck!

The panel will be gloss black and the Z28 is the color of the car with the grooves black. Eventually I will have stainless inserts for the Camaro part.

I think the pictures will explain the steps..

The badges came out sick. The pictures really do not due the justice.
I still need to put a final coat on the panel and then apply the clear. I hope to have it done this weekend.

Hey man I'm planning on doing gloss black too on my panel. I'm going to do the sanding, etc. this weekend. What kinda paint are you using and what clear?

Its a rattle can special. The black is supposedly a high gloss, but w/e, its just rustolem. The clear is a high gloss, by American Traditions, and the primer is by them as well.

A tip on the sanding. Wet sand the bumper with like 320 or so the first time or else all you will do is just scratch the clear coat. One of my buddies told me to wet sand it and sure enough the clear came right off. You may already know this, but I sure as hell didn't.

It seems to be doing well so far. I made sure to score it really well and get the clear off and then apply a good think coat of primer. I think I will be ok.
I made sure the primer and clear was for plastics.

You and me both! If it does happen... I will just put the one orginal panel back on and then do it all over again. I am going to keep the original on the wall here in the appartment. Some one gave me the idea to put some tail lights in it and use it as an overhead light.

Hey Ben,
Let me borrow your old ZR1's, see how they look with the new panel.

As for the 355 HP, when I find it in the motor I will let you know.
