Default SES light on a STOCK car

I am throwing code P0507 on my bone stock car. This isn't on my camaro , but rather my daily driver, a cavalier. I visually looked for vacum leaks, and i didnt find one. This is an intermitant problem. The light sets, I clear it, and it comes back a few days later.

What can i look for to try and correct this problem. There was nothing done tao the car recently, and about 5k miles ago, i changed the plugs and the air filter, that was it.

Thanks

P0507 is the "IAC System - IdleToo High" when I look it up. Shouldn't have anything to do with an O2 sensor. Double check everything from the filter to the throttle body. A piece of tubing my be bound up around a clamp allowing unmetered air in. It would most likely be behind the MAF sensor, closer to the throttle body. It wouldn't hurt to double check the plugs too.

Just to make sure they're still snugged down. I doubt there's a problem with them. But, it can't hurt to check. The other possibility is the IAC valve might be gunked up/sticking. If you can access it to clean it and the throttle body out, that might be a next step if the hunt for un-metered air turns up nothing.

Mine had a hole in a tube between the PCV valve and the TB. Its a small elbow that the hot oil eroded the pipe away, causing a vacuum leak. Hard to notice/hear bet eventaully threw a DTC, cant remember the number now though.
