How many 90 bends are ok in a fuel system using -8an line. I am going from a 16 gallon summit fuel cell with sump with a 90 coming out of the cell to the line going into a straight fitting thru the filter then the pump. Out of the pump into a 90 again into the regulator. Out of the regulator with another 90 to the carb. So I will have 3 total 90 bends in the supply line. I will also have a return line -6an with one 90 into the top of the fuel cell. Anyone have any suggestions??

I hope you get a response! I'm looking at the possibility of a similar configuration in my Datsun Z project. I'd like to keep the line as straight as possible, but it makes pump placement a bit tricky.

As long as you are using the smooth sweep style 90* it's probably ok. Just stay away from the ones that are a hard 90* turn. That's my .02 anyone else?

i agree with stealth71, those are the best ones you can use, plus they are the cheapest. when you get low profile (hard 90* fittings) the price goes up alot.
