Thats what I have too. And it seemed the car was running really ruff with them at that gap, so I brought it down to about 42-43. Now it is running like real crap. it has a dead miss in one cylinder. not sure witch one yet. But it is back firing and sputtering. Really bad. So I wonder if I might have fucked them up...

.055 for the tr55's? i could swear everyone else was saying .06? would it really make much of a diff though, and if so, which should i use?

I'm fairly sure that's the gap that 90% go with. Search TR-6 in here and the nitrous forum and you'll have your answer.
