Default Cutout Placement Problems with LM?

I was just wondering...

I hear most people put theirs under the rear passenger seat.....

But I am buying SLP LM and i was wondering if the cutout will still fit into the impression spot with the resonator pipe being in about the same spot??

If so, where should i put the cutout...

have a shop do it with their own pipe. They'll just cut a hole on the side of your exhaust pipe where you specify and weld on a short pipe with the 3-bolt flange on the end. as long as there isn't a muffler in the way, they can do it anywhere, lol
I can't find pics anymore but some people used to do the "zed-style" cut-out, named after the former admin of ls1.com but now at ls2.com
basically you put the cut-out facing the back of the car, angled down a little, right where the pipe starts to curve up to go over the axle. That way most of the exhaust will go down the i-pipe and straight out the end of it.

Well it's stainless right? If a place needs to, they will just trim it down some, no worries!

i agree. if you have loudmouth there is really no reason to place the cut-out past the resanator. wont make any difference in sound.

Having had Loudmouth catback and now stock with cutout.....I wouldn't bother with a cutout. Performance, I didn't notice anything. No real difference in 1/4 mile MPH. Sound.....pretty close. Loudmouth was a little more raspy but both are loud as hell. If you look at the resonator there isn't much restriction at all.
