Default Just Changing Springs for 224 563* cam

i was told by the person i am purchasing this cam from that all that is needed to be replaced valvetrain wise for such a mild cam is the springs. i am getting the 918's he used with the cam and he stressed that he has used this cam for 3 years just with changing the springs. stock everything else: reatiners, seats, locks etc... i plan on going with ls6 ported oil pump, UD pulley, and ls2 chain.

does that sound right?

Yes 7.400 or 7.425 (if you want less valvetrain noise)
Also I would get new locks
