yes x4. I'd caution you about driving the vehicle with it untuned as well.

Not to jack the thread but I have a ? Recently had a retune b-cause uped the boost from 6 to 12psi and car is recently running like crap.Well on fast accel. the car has a miss or it feels like its running out of air, fuel or something. Took the car to the shop that tuned and he hooked his laptop up and asked if I had 30pound injectors told him no it has 60's. He tuned my car thinking it had 30. Well he made some changes and said I should be fine. Didnt retune but said if I wanted retune I could make more power? Well my ? is could this hurt my motor if I keep running the car w/out having it retuned?

If someone "tuned" your motor without even knowing what size injectors it had, RUN AWAY!

Snap, you should really get that fixed ASAP. The tuning shops typically tune for WOT only, once you get over a certain PSI. So, even with the mishap on the injectors, the car should run well at WOT. The guy that tuned it sounds like a retard. 30# injectors on a boosted car??

IMO, effectively, your PCM is firing the injectors at 30#'s based on the tune, but the injectors don't know how to do that, so they just fire whatever amount they can. I would imagine you're running extremely rich while cruising around (which is why your car is running like crap.) When you go WOT, the tune kicks in and leans the AFR out to a reasonable level.

Remember, it's not how you stand by your car, it's how you race your car...you better learn dat!

That is SO funny.
But yes, either the tuner should ask or you should tell what changes you have made. Just common sense.
