So tell us how she works. Is she any faster? What's the weight difference?

I'm not sure of weight difference if any. She runs real good. I'll have dyno sheet in near future.

I'll have to say you are damn lucky to have such a great installer in the family.

Can you imagine the price an installer would have charged. Not to mention trying to find one that can actually make it look that nice.

Thanks! Yes I'm very lucky. It amazes me at what he can do with what he has and his imagination. Like the Bowtie on the throttle body, he made that with a piece of aluminum around the shop and a drill press.

Dude, that is like having Lingenfelter... well okay not him, but it is definately a lot better than having your dad be an $sshole carpenter.

Yeah he makes gorgeous custom $4k quality cabinets, but who the hell wants a custom machined cabinet with a purple heart bowtie emblem sitting in their engine bay.

How do you wire the sbc? Was it pre '86 block? I'd be interested in knowing how this was done.

What electronics are you using? (PCM/harness) How did you use the ls1 coils? It looks really good, Any more info on the whole project?

So what are you dyno'ing?? How much was the swap?

For LS1 coils im using the LTCC ignition.

I dynod it today on a land & sea dyno which reads almost exactly like a mustang dyno give or take 5hp. I put down untuned in 100% humidity, 322rwhp and 321rwtq with a 9.4 air/fuel. So theres probebly around 40 more hp after a good tune. In comparison, they had a cammed, exhaust, boltons, ls1 with a 150shot that runs lowlow 11's put down 420rwhp. And a Dodge Magnum rated at 425hp from factory put down 320rwhp. So considering that my numbers arnt all that bad. After I get it tuned I'll let ya'll know what it does and then i'll post my graph.

i know this is a really old post, but could you tell me where you got that intake adaptor for the throttle body? im trying to do this same conversion with a few minor dieffernces. but i need a way to mount my throttle body to the carb without it being ghetto.

From the dead, but that does look really good. Did you happen to ever get tuned numbers out of it?

The intake adapter or the 90 elbow was made by my old man.

And nope, still don't have it dyno tuned like it should be. I recently bought a NX plate kit, and will be putting that on with a NOS progressive controller sprayin a 150 shot.
