Default My 355 LT1

Heres a picture of my freshly rebuilt LT1. Hoping to put it all back together and in the car by the end of the week...


Heres a pic of my car with the old rims.. Hopfully some 18 Z06er's will be on by summer..

Possibly some details on the 355 build? Who did your short block? What valvetrain did you go with?

eagle crank and rods, speed pro -5cc flat tops, corvette alum heads, stock valvetrain for now. I melted 2 pistons and spun number 8 rod bearing on the 130k shortblock. I basically needed to rebuild it ASAP as its my DD. I have a powerdyne 4.5 kit but im not if ill put it back on. Thanks

did you go forged or no? balanced or no? Looks like a nice engine there. Get the valvetrain swapped and a cam and your good to go.

nah not forged, cast crank n rods and hyper pistons. the whole is balanced though..

Not A bad setup. I went with forged Pistons and Rods on my re-build setup. What Hood is that?

It is the ultra z hood by SLP. Join the club!


Hey blown 93, car looks great. I always like to see different colors with the hood. How bout some specs on that motor
